ORLANDO, Florida – Five local cheerleading teams placed in the 2026 Universal Cheerleaders Associations national competitions this past weekend. The following are the schools and placements. Pikeville High School placed as national runner-up in the D-II Small Varsity. Pike County Central High School placed fourth in their division, while also competing in the Large Varsity Division II Semifinals earlier in the weekend. Pikeville Junior High School also secured a fourth-place finish in the Large Junior High finals with an e vent score of 74.75, while Elkhorn City Elementary placed fifth in the national competition.
