ABINGDON, Va. — A Wise County man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty in a federal drug case. Eric Bud Mullins, 34, of Big Stone Gap, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess more than 500 grams of meth with the intent to distribute, conspiracy to possess fentanyl with the intent to distribute, and possession of more than 50 grams of meth with the intent to distribute. LEBURN, Ky. — A Floyd County man was killed in a Knott County single-vehicle crash Monday night. The crash happened just after 8 p.m. Kentucky State Police Post 13 says a Toyota Camry veered off the westbound shoulder of Route 80 at Leburn and went over an embankment. The driver, Keith Dingus, 68, of Langley, was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Two children were passengers in the car and were transported to UK hospital.
