PRESS RELEASE: MARSHALL ATHLETICS HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Softball student-athletes Haleigh Adkins, Ava Blake, Abby Darnley, Bella Gerlach and Paige Maynard were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday. To be eligible, nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution’s games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution’s games and have maintained at least a 3.5 GPA in the spring semester.
