PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Perry County has been arrested more than four months after being indicted for drug trafficking in Pike County. Tyler Scott Darnell, 28, of Jeff, was arrested in Russell County on Tuesday. He was indicted Oct. 29 along with Henry Cleaver, 28, of Elkhorn City, on charges of meth and fentanyl trafficking. Cleaver was arrested about two weeks after the indictment, but Darnell remained free until Tuesday. LONDON, Ky. — A last-minute settlement has been reached in a lawsuit against a former Letcher County deputy, filed by a woman who had accused him of demanding sex in exchange for favorable treatment.
