Now, we know why the hearing was canceled and when it will take place instead. In an order filed in the case on Monday, Special Judge Eddy Coleman said he was forced to cancel the hearing after being injured in a fall. He added that injury will require surgery, which has been scheduled for Tuesday. The hearing has now been rescheduled for 10 a.m., April 23, in Pike Circuit Court.

Louisa woman charged with auto theft for not returning U-Haul truck

Amber Lynn MitchellLOUISA, Ky. — A Lawrence County woman has been arrested after police say she rented a truck and refused to take it back. Ironton, Ohio, Police Department contacted Louisa Police on Friday about the theft. They said they had received a report from U-Haul that Amber Lynn Mitchell, 39, of Louisa, had rented a truck from the company on March 21 and had not returned it.
