WHEELWRIGHT, Ky. — The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a missing Wheelwright teen. Cody Oliver Tackett, 17, was last seen around 3:30 in the morning on Feb. 19. He was wearing an orange camouflage hoodie, hat and boots. The sheriff’s office says Tackett left home on his own, as there is security video of him leaving. The department has received numerous tips and has followed up with other police agencies both in and out of Kentucky, but so far has not located him. FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky Power customers will be getting a small amount of relief on their power bills, after the Public Service Commission agreed to allow the utility to spread out some of the cost of a winter storm. Beginning in the last week of January, Eastern Kentucky experienced two weeks of below-freezing temperatures, pushing up the demand for power and causing the cost of electricity to soar.
