I’m probably one of the youngest rock DJs to ever be on our station at a ripe age of 24 years old. Don’t worry though, I ignored all the music around me growing up and went back in time to the 70s, 80s and 90s. So classic rock is what I know best.
If you haven’t heard me on air, I LOVE Queen. I’ve loved them since I was really young. Brian May is the most underrated guitarist in history (next to Mick Mars – have you heard his blues licks? And that drop tuning? If you haven’t, I have plenty of Crue for you too, so come on over.) The greatest guitarist of ALL TIME was Stevie Ray Vaughan. (Sorry Hendrix fans, he’s awesome too though.)
Of course my all time favorite is Queen, but I keep Guns N’ Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd and The Beatles on repeat most of the day too.
Aside from my regular office gig, when I’m not on air I’m usually playing guitar, or listening to someone else play guitar.
When I’m ready to wind down for the night I lay down in bed and turn up the Crime Junkies Podcast and listen to stories about murder to help me fall asleep. (Weird?)
That’s about it, I’m not that interesting.. Come rock with me from 3PM to 6PM Monday – Friday right after Jerry! I’ll throw some stupid criminal stories, conspiracy theories and all kinds of other stuff at ya. See ya there!
