I was born in Detroit, MI and moved to Kentucky at the age of 14. I attended Virgie High School, class of 1984. After high school, I served our country in the United States Army for four years. During my time in the army I got interested in radio. I learned from radio personality and SiriusXM morning mash-up host STanley T. Evans. After my four years in the army, I moved back to Kentucky I worked part-time Radio and Nightclub DJ-ing. In 1995 I began working radio full-time.
