Man wanted in pair of thefts arrested in Pikeville
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A man wanted in a number of cases in Pike and Floyd counties was arrested on Thursday. Jeremy James Petersen, 37, of Teaberry, is accused breaking into the Walters Mazda lot on Nov. 10th and taking a 2020 Toyota Camry. He is also accused of stealing a four-wheeler from the lot of Childers Auto and Truck Parts on Dec. 12. It was that last incident which resulted in his arrest, after police spotted someone riding the stolen four-wheeler on Scott Avenue on Thursday.
